Who are Eden Reforestation Projects?
Eden Reforestation Projects works with local communities to plant and restore healthy forests on a massive scale, thereby protecting ecosystems, and helping mitigate climate change. So far, they have planted over 900 million trees internationally!
In addition to the hugely beneficial impact on the environment, this large-scale tree planting project also creates jobs for impoverished local villagers and provides them with a consistent income, helping to alleviate extreme poverty.

“Eden Reforestation Projects is a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to provide fair wage employment to impoverished villagers as agents of global forest restoration. We hire the poorest of the poor to grow, plant, and guard to maturity native species forest on a massive scale. Our “Employ to Plant” methodology results in a multiplication of positive socio-economic and environment measures”.

As they continue to scale, Eden Reforestation Projects will grow from planting nearly a million trees per day to more than a billion trees per month.
