Protect our Forests - Preserve Old Growth - Protect the Planet
Old-growth forests have been around for centuries or even millennia, providing homes for many species that cannot survive in disturbed landscapes. These intact habitats provide the perfect environment for inhabitants to thrive in, often containing a greater variety of trees and other plants than those found in secondary forests. By maintaining undisturbed old-growth forests, biodiversity can increase while sensitive species can remain safe from human interference.
When considering how best to conserve our natural resources, it’s important to remember the importance of old-growth forest preservation. By protecting these ancient ecosystems we can ensure that our planet remains home to a wide range of wildlife and maintain balance in our fragile web of life.
