Measurements are taken with the tee laid flat. ‘Chest’ is measured across from armpit to armpit. ‘Body Length’ is measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem. ‘Sleeve Length’ is measured from the center back to the end of the sleeve. Due to manual measuring and natural fabric variation, actual sizes may vary by ±1 inch.

    Everything is shipped from Cotati, Northern California. Here's our Shipping Policy.

  • Where are the trees planted?

    We plant 3 trees per order by donating to Veritree, and a portion of every order is donated to our charities: National Forest Foundation, SEE Turtles, Pollinator Partnership, and Yosemite Conservancy.

  • Do your shirts fit true-to-size?

    This is a difficult question to answer because everyone has a different body type and a different preference to what is their "ideal fit". We recommend you find your favorite fitting shirt in your closet and measure from armpit to armpit. Then, take a look at our size chart listed on each individual style and compare the measurements. 

  • Where are your items manufactured?

    While everything is drawn, printed, and shipped by us in Northern California, the article manufacturer's location varies depending on style and batch. Some of the factory locations include but aren't limited to, India, Mexico, Nicaragua, China, and Haiti.

    We only work with WRAP-certified companies to ensure ethical practices - you can find out more about this here: https://wrapcompliance.org/en/about/what-we-do/ We use US suppliers as much as possible, e.g., our Heavyweight 100% Cotton Long Sleeve and Comfort Color CrewneckTees are made with sustainably grown USA cotton and sewn with USA cotton thread, so you can feel good about supporting American farmers.

  • Can I return or exchange an item if it doesn't fit?

    Yes! At Because Tees, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you need to exchange or return an item, head to our Returns Portal to get started.

    Customers can exchange or return their purchase within 30 days of delivery. The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on worn or washed items.

  • How should I care for my BeCause Tees shirt to ensure longevity?

    To keep your BeCause Tees item looking its best for as long as possible, we recommend the following care instructions:

    • Machine wash cold, inside out with similar fabrics to protect the fabric and design.
    • Line dry or tumble dry on low to prevent shrinkage and preserve the fabric’s integrity.

    Following these simple steps will help your item maintain its color, shape, and softness, allowing you to wear your cause proudly for years to come.

  • How quickly will I receive my order?

    We strive to process and ship orders within 1-2 business days to get your items to you as quickly as possible.

    During peak times, such as holidays or special promotions, production may take a bit longer — around 2-5 business days.

    Shipping Time: Once your order is shipped, delivery typically takes 3-7 business days within the U.S., depending on your location and selected shipping option.

    You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your order is on its way.

  • Do you have an in-person store?

    For now, we just run out of our office/warehouse, but you can find us in various boutiques across America.
